Position Overview Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) is seeking a Fabrication Technicians in Willowbrook and Peoria, Illinois to support the fabrication, modification, and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices in a fast-paced healthcare manufacturing environment. This role works closely with clinicians and lab team members to produce high-quality lower extremity prosthetics , orthotic devices, and related components using plaster modification, mold modification, lamination, thermoplastics, composite materials, and prosthetic and orthotic componentry . The Fabrication Technician will interpret work orders, measurement forms, and fabrication instructions , operate specialized fabrication machinery and hand tools , and help maintain strong quality control, safety compliance, and technical precision throughout the production process. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who takes pride in building functional devices that directly support patient mobility and clinical outcomes.
