Position Summary: The Salad Prep Cook at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital participates as a member of the food production staff to prepare and serve a culinary experience to our patients, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality salads, dressings, and ingredients for the creation of compound salads and various dishes for patients and cafeteria customers. The Salad Prep Cook provides support for the smooth operation of our kitchen specifically in the areas of slicing and some light cooking tasks. This role requires precision, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Minimum Qualifications: Required - High school diploma or Equivalent. - ServSafe Certification within six (6) months of start date Preferred: - Six (6) months of work experience as a prep / line cook - Six (6) months of experience working in a high-volume commercial kitchen Essential Job Functions: In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.
