Skilled Laborer (CDL)

Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Skilled Laborer to join our team in our Off Site Office. The Skilled Laborer performs a wide range of tasks which include organizing, cleaning, retrieving, fire watching, and assignments instructed by supervisors. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Position may perform a large range of manual activities including but not limited to moving equipment, digging, retrieving equipment, standing by for fire safety, and any other work instructed by a supervisor or a journeyman. - Use fire extinguisher. - Climb on to structures and Scaffolding. - Uses rigging and hoisting devices such as chokers, chain falls and come along to move equipment / materials into place. - Runs errands to support the work site. - Conducts preventative maintenance such as lubrication and fixing or repairing worn parts. - Performs a variety of tasks involving safe dexterous use of hand tools. - Follow directions from supervisor. - Cleans tools, equipment, material, and work areas. - Stocks drinking water containers for the construction site personnel. - Spend time on job and can be transferred to another job as project progresses. - Maybe assigned hole watch and/or Firewatch duties. - Digs, s...
