Survey Field Technician Department: Community Infrastructure: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Jackson, MI: Description: Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Survey Field Technician for our Jackson, MS office. The Survey Field Technician will work under the direction of the Party Chief, operating and maintaining survey equipment, collecting and downloading survey data, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and assisting the Party Chief as directed. Your Primary Responsibilities will include: Assist Party Chief : Support the Party Chief in daily survey operations. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain survey equipment under the guidance of the Party Chief. Safety Compliance : Know, understand, and demonstrate safe operation of assigned equipment, and maintain safety standards. Equipment Maintenance: Keep equipment charged, clean, and in good working order. Punctuality and Reliability : Must be punctual and reliable in carrying out assigned duties. Field Work: Cut and clear brush along survey lines, drive rebar, stakes, hubs in the ground, and perform other field tasks as required.
