Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C., is hiring a Supplier Quality Lead . The Supplier Quality Lead manages a team of supplier quality engineers and is responsible for the quality performance of their suppliers. Responsibilities include managing supplier corrective action requests, supplier audits, and customer communication. Seeking candidates with a minimum five years of experience in quality engineering or related role; Supervisory experience preferred; Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred; Certification in quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus. Requirements for the Supplier Quality Lead position include: Physical requirements must be met for the Supplier Quality Lead job, including regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
