Job description

Location: Riley Hospital Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with weekend rotation 2–3 times per year Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the healthcare facility. This position is responsible for performing both scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and responding promptly to maintenance service requests. The technician troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains building infrastructure and secondary utility systems essential to patient care, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, medical air, and related systems. This role also involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing specialized healthcare equipment and facility systems in accordance with applicable codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The Maintenance Technician conducts routine inspections of buildings and grounds, accurately documents completed work, and identifies opportunities for facility or system improvements through appropriate reporting channels.
