Responsible for data entry handling to include: researching, manual title entry or reviewing, updating and validating titles drawn from electronic Onix feeds or from various other sources. contacting publishers to gather missing data, check stock levels and availability statuses. annotation entry. updating of data sets in Oracle to include assigning Dewey and/or LC classification numbers, appropriate subject headings, geographic and cultural designators, Fiction genres, age ranges for juvenile materials, etc., pursuant to established coding guidelines and Library of Congress conventions. maintain the integrity of the data and perform final verification and approval of the records in the Brodart Title Database and Jour...
