Job description

The Assistant Director of Development will assist Development leadership in executing various fundraising initiatives, events and campaigns. They will focus on communicating the value of giving and the importance of maintaining/growing donor relationships. The AD has significant responsibilities including but not limited to acknowledgment, engagement, and communications to steward, cultivate, and upgrade donors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under direction, works closely and assists in supporting frontline fundraisers to create meaningful stewardship plans for donors. Ensures timely and accurate data entry related to the department's activities, including the recording of contact reports. Analytical, well-organized, ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, and consistently meets all deadlines. Able to initiate and complete projects and provide donor support with little supervision, exercising good judgment Building relationships with Schools and Programs across LU, lending support and strategic direction to their stewardship efforts.
