2026 SUMMER CAMP SEASON RUNS JUNE 8, 2026 - JULY 31, 2026: MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. SCOPE OF POSITION: To assist with the daily preparation of food from menus that have been established. To assist with the preparation of food in such a way that will make a positive contribution to the health and nutritional standards of Camp Gifford. To help in the supervision of meal preparation, giving guidance to other kitchen staff in the absence of the Head (1st) Cook. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: - Experience working with children preferred - Kitchen experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: - Possess all food handler certification(s) as required by state and local law - Able to maintain cleanliness & safety standards for kitchen and food services - Possess good leadership skills and ability to supervise other staff - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions - Computer literate...
