JOB SUMMARY: Summer Peer Advisor Coordinators support the onboarding and leadership development of Peer Advisors while contributing to the successful transition of incoming first-year students. In addition to supporting New Student Orientation and Welcome Week, Coordinators engage in leadership training, connect with assigned Student Success Advisors (SSAs) or ULife Instructors, and co-lead summer info sessions for Peer Advisors. This paid position offers an opportunity to further develop professional skills and shape the upcoming academic year’s Peer Advisor experience. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in optional (highly encouraged) summer leadership training sessions to continue building professional and supervisory skills. Plan and conduct summer info sessions for Peer Advisors to support their onboarding and success in the role. Assist with New Student Orientation by greeting students and families, supporting registration labs, and serving as a campus resource. Introduce yourself to your assigned Student Success Advisor (SSA) or ULife Instructor to begin planning for your Fall ULife course.
