Overview Apogee Engineering is actively seeking a Part-Time Joint Exercise Planne r to join our SMDC team. Program: This position will provide A&AS to support the USASMDC G37 Training, Readiness and Exercise Division (G37 TREX) mission. This position will support the Exercise Branch, responsible for planning, synchronizing, executing, and assessing space operations support to USSPACECOM, USNORTHCOM, USSTRATCOM, Department of the Army and other CCMD major exercises, experiments, and war games. This full-time role is onsite at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO. Responsibilities: Joint Exercises Support. - The Joint Exercise Team will coordinate directly with GCCs, ASCCs, Corps, Division, 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command, 263rd Army Air and Missile Defense Command, the 1st Space Brigade and the 100th Ground-Based Mission Defense (GMD) to provide Integrated Air and Missile Defense and Space exercise support. - Provide expertise in planning Joint Staff Tier I exercises, Army Theater exercise, the major training events for the SMDC staff, subordinate commands using the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) process. - Execution of the exercises outlined above; includes c...
