The Poker Dealer is responsible for creating an entertaining environment for all guests while serving as a dealer during his/her shift. A Poker Dealer’s full attention and concentration must be directed toward the poker games at hand. Poker Dealers are expected to provide a professional and courteous service experience to all guests. - Maintains an upbeat personality for all interactions with guests and fellow employees - Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to players. - Deals and runs the game at hand, in accordance with departmental procedures. - Maintains the pace of the poker game. - Responsible for the table tray bank. - Handles financial transactions at the poker game. - May be asked to work as a proposition player to assist in generating business demand of tables. - Responsible for conducting him/herself in a professional manner as a dealer. - Possesses a thorough working knowledge of the various poker games and a willingness to learn all necessary games offered in the poker room. - Routinely strives to build and maintain rapport with customers by handling disputes and making every effort to achieve customer satisfaction. - Proactive in anticipating customer need...
