Senior Finance Manager - General Accounting

Overview: The General Accounting Senior Finance Manager will lead a team of professionals who are responsible for supporting the General Accounting group, intercompany, and close activities for the Controllers department. Contributes to strategic direction/execution in the General Accounting group, Controllers department and bank, as well as resolution of complex problems. Works closely with the Accounting Operations, Specialized Accounting, Reporting groups, as well as other Finance division leads. The General Accounting group is a highly dynamic area, given recent implementation of a new general ledger and supporting technology and people infrastructure. Primary Responsibilities: - Lead a team of analysts who are responsible for operations supporting the General Accounting group, intercompany, and close activities for the Controllers department. - Makes recommendations and decisions to business line and operations' managers regarding accounting policies and interpretations thereof. - Manages the operations for various monthly and quarterly processes.
