Job description

Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Production Manager, the Test Technician performs manual work pertaining to testing and troubleshooting our company products. This employee is responsible for debugging all products, troubleshooting issues, performing repairs and final testing of our products. Essential: Marginal: - Performs initial tests upon receiving electronic assemblies from sub-assembly by utilizing appropriate established test procedures. - Solder inspection of assemblies. (Familiarity with IPC 610 is desirable) - Troubleshoots electronic assemblies to the component level, replacing components as required. - Generates problem reports on tested assemblies when necessary and works with Engineering for problem resolution. - Communicates assembly issues by providing written documentation to relevant assemblers. - Creates suggestions on how to correct a problem with an assembly and provides guidance to assemblers. - Ensures test and all equipment is kept within calibration requirements. - Reads manufacturing documentation such as blueprints, process sheets and assembly and schematic drawings, receives verbal instructions regarding work assignment, and follows instru...
