Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Bilingual English/Spanish required Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant: Employment Type: Full-Time: Shift : Mon-Fri, and 1 Saturday morning per month Location : Holy Cross Health Center - Aspen Hill 13415 Connecticut Avenue Suite 100: Silver Spring, MD 20906: Position Purpose: Assists the ambulatory care setting physician or other professional healthcare provider with support for patient care and examinations, including exam preparation and lab work. Performs basic medical assisting procedures necessary to provide for care, comfort and safety of patients. This position is a key role serving our community. As a Certified Medical Assistant you will: Show patients to exam room, interview patients, measure vital signs (i.e. pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) and document in Electronic Health Record. Accurately assesses patient symptoms, reactions, and physical condition and records data in the medical record.
