LOCATION: The Salvation Army - Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center - Phoenix, Arizona STATUS: On Call/ Temporary/ Non-Exempt: MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. QUALIFICATIONS: RESPONSIBILITIES: - Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. - High School diploma or GED required. - Experience supporting individuals with cognitive, emotional, or developmental disabilities (e.g. ADH, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ODD) preferred. - Background or coursework in psychology, social work, education, or related field preferred. - Must become CPR/First Aid/AED certified prior to first camp session worked. - Strong ability to manage behavioral situations with calmness and professionalism. - Demonstrated experience in inclusive practices or trauma-informed care preferred. - Must demonstrate the ability to support camp staff with behavior redirection and transitional routines. - Must thrive in a team-oriented environment, maint...
