Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Donor Room Apheresis Technician - Location: Evanston Hospital - Full Time/Part Time: Full Time - Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4pm, e/o weekend and rotating holidays - Required Travel: Yes, float. What you will do: Utilize internal and external variance forms to document policy or procedure deviations and corresponding corrective actions. Strictly adhere to blood bank policies and procedures as outlined in the donor room procedure manual. - Collect autologous and directed whole blood donations and apheresis platelet donations. Perform therapeutic phlebotomies and peripheral stem cell collections. Recruit apheresis donors, homologous whole blood donors, and neonatal plasma donors. Serve as a resource person for junior staff members.
