Department Summary The vision of the Department of Psychology at San Jose Staté University (SJSU) is to provide high-quality education in psychology that fosters the development of students so that they will make worthy contributions to society. Brief Description of Duties: The Department of Psychology invites applicants for a pool of lecturers to teach courses, should the need arise, during the fall or spring semesters. We are seeking instructors with demonstrated, or potential for teaching excellence. Lecturers are expected to work with the Department Chair to ensure their course instruction and materials conform to university and department policies and practices, including holding office hours and participating in performance reviews.
