Department: O and M Maintenance and Operations Requested Start Date: May 1, 2026 Salary: $67,000.00 Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but may vary depending on University need and some evening and weekend for special events. Job Summary: The manager leads the planning, design, and construction of major infrastructure improvements and renovations to ensure they align with the institution's strategic plan and academic mission. The position serves as a key liaison between university departments, external contractors, and architects to deliver projects on time and within budget. Also, the manager assists in long-range utility planning, developing operating budgets, and implementing energy-saving and sustainability initiatives. The position manages the full life cycle of major capital projects, including coordinating all phases of project delivery, programming, design, construction administration, and close-out.
