Job description

Job Description: - Set up machines for operation, change material and color to meet production schedules. - Must have a technical understanding of process and raw materials used. - Keep supervisor/management informed of all problems. - Will at times directly supervise / manages others. - Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints by taking to Supervisor to resolve problems. - Cover for the supervisor in his/her absence. - Startup machines and monitor quality at start up. - Make appropriate adjustments to machines to maintain efficient production levels and document appropriately. - Respond to Quality Assurance Techs by adjusting machines to maintain appropriate sizes and standards. - Oversee proper packaging procedures. - Review production schedules and ensure machines are running production to meet customer demands. - Respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance to correct machine malfunctions and/or Packer/Handler problems. - Use proper Lockout/tagout procedures. - Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Main...
