Overview The Director of Admissions plays a critical leadership role in ensuring timely, efficient, and patient-centered access to care. This position oversees all admissions and intake operations, partners closely with clinical leadership to ensure appropriate placement and medical necessity, and leads a high-performing admissions team focused on responsiveness, accuracy, and compassionate engagement. The Director also serves as a key liaison with referral sources, payers, and internal departments to support census growth while maintaining regulatory compliance and an exceptional patient and family experience from first contact through admission. PURPOSE STATEMENT: Direct the facility admissions activities by driving the admissions process, developing, implementing, and maintaining revenue-generating strategies.
