This position will work in the lab doing phlebotomy and processing specimens for in house testing and transport to outside lab(s). This position will also work in the clinic doing client intake and assisting providers. Medical Assistant: - Performs Laboratory testing and patient servicing in a Health Department laboratory either alone or in cooperation with another technician or technologist. - Acts as a Medical Assistant in a laboratory setting - Performs daily maintenance of equipment - Maintains a clean and disinfected environment in lab at all times - Prepares specimens for transport to outside labs - Records and maintains records and results as required by Florida statutes - Requisitions supplies as needed - Results of lab testing per...
