Test Engineer

Job description

Red River is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Test Engineer with a strong background in U.S. Navy test and evaluation , including requirements analysis, procedure development, defect reporting, and system validation. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience testing enterprise virtualization and data center technologies such as Cisco ACI , VMware vCenter , ESXi , virtual machines , Cisco Intersight , and related infrastructure components. This role supports end ‑ to ‑ end test planning, execution, documentation, and reporting for complex IaaS environments. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Requirements Analyze system requirements, interface control documents, and engineering specifications to develop comprehensive test plans and traceability matrices. Translate high-level Navy or DoD requirements into actionable, measurable test objectives . Identify test gaps, risks, and dependencies across multi ‑ vendor IaaS architectures. Test Procedure Development: Create detailed test procedures for functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing of IaaS components.
