Richmond Hospital Department of Psychiatry is currently seeking a psychiatrist to join. Position to start immediately. Richmond Adult Mental Health Team, based in the community, is a program that provides longer-term management of serious and persistent mental health conditions requiring an interdisciplinary treatment team. The majority of referrals are from Family Physicians in the community, the Emergency Department, as well as the In-Patient Unit. Richmond Hospital Psychiatric Assessment Unit (PAU)/ED In-Patient Service is based at Richmond Hospital and specifically provides services to admitted in-patients in hospital. The Psychiatrist would provide psychiatric assessment and treatment to patients admitted in medical and surgical wards, do consultants in the Emergency Department and would liaise and collaborate with the primary care team for integrated patient care.
