Job description

Overview The Research Coordinator will work with a research team on several grant-funded studies designed to evaluate neurobehavioral characteristics of criminal offenders with antisocial (e.g., psychopathic, paraphilic) traits as well as long-term outcomes (e.g., after release from incarceration) using established psychological, socio-behavioral, and/or neurobiological research procedures. Will be responsible for: 1) Recruiting and scheduling participants, 2) Conducting clinical assessments, 3) Analyzing data to assure data integrity, quality control and protocol compliance, 4) Training staff and volunteers, 5) Supervising student volunteers and other staff, 6) Using statistical software to analyze data quantitatively and qualitatively, and assist in the preparation of conference presentations, manuscripts, and grant proposals. RCs will be trained to assess psychopathy via clinical interviews, perform neuropsychological testing, and/or DSM-5 structured interviews. Qualified hires may also receive training in brain imaging (functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI)) data collection and analyses.
