The Alachua WIC Program covers a 10-county area. This is a high-level position that provides logistical support to the WIC program. The Accountant II serves as the purchasing agent and provides accounting, auditing, invoicing, payment and budgetary support functions for the WIC project and other agreements. The incumbent must possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to be able to meet the core competencies regarding budget responsibilities and the computer skills to navigate the budget. Assists in the preparation of the program's annual operating budgets and agreements that impact the budgets.
