College level Chemistry and Biochemistry course work. Current enrollment in a MS program. Position Description: The Temporary Research Assistant in the Department of Microbiology will support the research mission of the Lawrenz lab through contributing to immunology projects in the lab. This will include performing various molecular biology, cell culture, and immunological assays. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and conduct laboratory research experiments. Using sterile techniques. Cultivation of bacteria. Cultivation of cell culture. Record keeping: Support scientific investigations by documenting results of experiments; collect, analyze, and summarize data in notebooks and in electronic files for presentations; assist in the preparation of laboratory reports and presentations.
