Duke Nursing Highlights: The Clinical Nurse Educator will focus supporting the DUH perioperative departments, DUH imaging department, the DUHS Float pool, travelers, and the Duke Nurse Extern (DNE) program for onboarding, just in time training, competency management, continuing education and revalidation. The CNE teaches AHA Life Support classes: BLS, ACLS, PALS, orientation, other courses/education specific for the service line/system, and special projects for the system. Shift: The role may require occasional early morning availability as well as occasional weekend work. The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) across the entities of Duke Medicine by providing staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent, leaders and researcher.
