FTE: 0.9, Shift: Day, Schedule: 12 hour shifts; rotating weekends & holidays Position Summary: The Mental Health Associate II is responsible for providing a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment while providing direct observation for an assigned patient experiencing confusion, suicidal ideation, or other psychiatric condition requiring close supervision. This position works in conjunction with the Registered Nurse assigned to the patient. Responsibilities: - Observes assigned patient, maintaining a direct line of vision to the patient at all times and communicates unusual occurrences immediately to the nurse responsible for the patient - Assists with maintaining a safe and hazard free environment by observing and documenting patient behavior, conducting patient room searches,...
