Description Job Status: Non-Exempt –: Mon - Fri 3p-11p: Job Summary: Under general supervision, supports the development, implementation, and administration of all Residential Life programs and activities. Assist in the retention, health and wellness of A New Leaf Transition Academy Students, within the academy's co-curricular environment. Essential Functions: - Highly developed organizational, time management, human relations and interpersonal communication and writing skills; self-motivated, flexible, and creative. - Carry out duties as outlined by the Residential Life & Student Activity Coordinator. - Assists students in adjusting to Academy life by providing supervision, behavior modification and acting as a mentor. - Provide weekday, evening or weekend assistance in monitoring students in personal hygiene, room/chore assignments, and other activities. - Ensure the accuracy and completeness of incident, shift and other documents/reports. - Ability to multi-task and solve problems. - Knowledgeable in handling crisis and medical emergency situations within the residence wings, as it relates to I/DD and Autism. - Ability to design, prepare, deliver, and modify residential living a...
