If you are an Entry‑Level Controls Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the chance to work on meaningful automation and control solutions that support the modernization and sustainability of the North American power grid. You will join a collaborative team delivering gas turbine retrofit projects using Emerson’s Ovation product line, gaining hands‑on experience with real‑world applications, control strategies, and system design. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL: - Learn combustion turbine operations, mechanical fundamentals, and system behavior to support controls development. - Build foundational knowledge of combustion turbine control strategies used in modern power generation systems. - Develop application code solutions and contribute to real-world project deliverables. - Assist in designing, developing, and testing HMI control screens that support operator visibility and decision‑making. - Support software testing, troubleshooting, and application validation using historical and live system data. - Contribute to the development of software standards, templates, and best practices to improve consistency and quality. - Co...
