Salary Range: $47,000 - $65,000: This role provides art instruction to K-12 students requiring special education in a therapeutic educational setting. This position has the option of being a full-time or part-time schedule. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Plan and create engaging art lessons in a therapeutic school setting Support students on their Individualized Educational Programs (IEP’s) that meet state requirements while meeting each student's educational & behavioral needs. Plan and implement a sound, therapeutic expressive art program available to each child, teaching basic art skills. Be aware of available community art resources and offer to children as appropriate. Keep the treatment team current on any developments with the child in expressive arts. Care for equipment, supplies, and art room, which include maintenance and ordering of all art supplies.
