Our Company All Ways Caring HomeCare Overview: The CDS Tax Support Specialist is responsible for managing tax associated tasks under Medicaid Home and Community Based Services Consumer Directed Services. External Job Description: - Obtain tax IDs for the Medicaid consumer/employer. - Organize and maintain tax documents. - Coordinate relevant tax matters with branch staff, payroll vendor, and corporate support center. - Communicate with consumers regarding tax matters. - Utilize Point of Care to track discharges. - Utilize state and federal sites for tax applications and maintain current information. - Analyze tax letters for appropriate next steps and follow through to resolution. - Ensures tax handling is compliant with state regulations. - Completes required job role training. - Participate in staff meetings. - Completes required job role training. - Timely submission of timekeeping and paperwork. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. - One or more years of working with CDS tax related services and computer experience preferred. - One or more years of general office and computer experience required.
