Position: Youth Sports Staff Wage: $ 17.13 to $18.13 per hour, depending on qualifications Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week Location: Gordon Family YMCA, Sumner, WA As a Youth Sports Staff, you will be responsible for instructing class participants in various sports, games, and activities while providing quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Qualifications: - Minimum of 15 years of age or older. - Six months or more of related experience (preferred). - The ability to instruct participants in techniques. - CPR, First Aid, AED certifications (preferred). - Positive attitude. - Knowledge and skills in programming, activities, and sports. - Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act). - Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. - Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
