Job Description Job Title: Junior Engineer: Department: Service - Equipment: Reports To: Regional Field Service Manager Overview: Junior engineers required to support our ongoing X Ray service contracts. At the end of a six month probationary period the Junior Engineer will be able to demonstrate basic skills and general understanding of X Ray equipment and have the knowledge and understanding to carry out mechanical and electrical tests and to collect data via an electronic meter. Junior engineers will need to be competent in using a tablet and laptop and experience with excel would be advantageous. Job Responsibilities: The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following: Daily Duties : Following training the apprentice engineer will be able to carry out mechanical and electrical testing on intra oral X ray units and collect data via an electronic testing meter. - Field based - To visit customers premises and to carry out defined duties - To be able to work alone - To be able to test and check already installed intra oral X ray units - Follow defined test and check list - Liaise between Supervisor, Service Desk and customer to resolve any unclear issues - Leave t...
