Associate Wheel and Brake Overhaul Technician Company: Boeing Distribution, Inc. Boeing Distribution Inc (BDI) has an opening for Associate Wheel and Brake Overhaul Technician . You will be responsible for the end-to-end overhaul process of critical landing gear components. Working within a certified FAA Part 145 Repair Station , you will ensure that all wheel and brake assemblies meet the highest standards of airworthiness and safety before being returned to service. This role requires a high degree of precision, mechanical aptitude, and strict adherence to technical data. Position Responsibilities: Disassemble complex wheel and brake units, including the removal of tires, bearings, and hydraulic components. Perform industrial cleaning and grit blasting to prepare parts for inspection. Perform repairs, modifications, and overhauls on carbon and steel brake assemblies and wheel hubs in accordance with Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) . Reassemble components, ensuring proper torque and balance. Conduct functional and pressure testing to verify hydraulic integrity and leak-free operation.
