Job Description: Perform Computer Aid Design of engineering products and systems. Utilize design software to develop 2D drawings and 3D models of parts and systems. Utilize Computer Aided Engineering tools to develop virtual models, physics-based simulations, animate functions and assembly, and create elements that contribute to Technical Data Packages. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), statistical and worst-case stack up analysis to all designs. Reverse engineer obsolete products by using precision measurement tools, laser systems, and coordinate measuring machines. Analyze thermal systems and provide calculations of cooling capacity requirements, recommendations for thermal improvements, and validations of design. Thermal analysis shall be simulated with Finite Element analysis and verified with analytical calculations. Create Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) models of thermal steady state and non-steady state fluid systems. Analyze the shock and vibration response of mechanical systems using Computer Aided Engineering. All material subjected to dynamic stresses shall be simulated with Computer Aided Engineering and accompanied by analytical calculations. Desi...
