Organization: SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley Position Overview: Responsible for planning, executing and overseeing a variety of corporate and legal projects as an integral member the Health Plan and Network Services Team. Provides infrastructure and support by proactively assisting internal and external counsel and executive management in specific areas of responsibility. Collaborates with team members related to changes in federal and state laws and the organization's policies and procedures. Although subject to oversight by an attorney, the incumbent works very independently — providing knowledge and consultation to management relating to corporate and transactional documents, policy review, legal research, subpoena response review, legislation and regulatory tracking, and board governance; and drafts, reviews and/or proofreads complex contracts, regulatory filings, and other documents.
