About the business Biodiversity Australia is an Environmental Consultancy which brings exciting opportunities in Fire Ant Eradication within the Southeast Queensland region. About the opportunity: We are currently recruiting Biosecurity Team Member to join the Fire Ant Eradication Unit the Southeast Region. This opportunity presents successful applicants with the ability to make valued contributions to the National Fire Ant Eradication Program within numerous sites in Southeast Queensland. You will be responsible for the fire ant reduction and eradication project works such as surveillance, baiting and leading various workers on the ground. About you: To be successful in the Team Lead role, the following requirements/skills are required: - Experience in undertaking visual surveillance - Experience in bait treatment programs - Daily reporting tasks, data collection and mapping Team Member requires the following: Experience with Fire Ant Eradication programs Security Clearance - This position requires a Baseline Vetting security clearance.
