We are searching for a Women's Specialty Unit & Antepartum Nurse ! – someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position, you’ll provide quality nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family centered principals and cost effective care. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in nursing or other degree in nursing with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement - Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact and BLS certification are required - Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association - 9 months of professional nursing experience - Knowledge of the nursing process, critical thinking skills, PALS, ACLS and interdisciplinary collaboration - Ability to demonstrate positive and appropriate interpersonal skills - Demonstrates good time and resource management skills and flexibility skills - Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to operate unit specific equipment Preferred Qualifications: As part of our commitment to...
