Job description

LeMay , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Container Delivery Driver to join the team in Centralia! Monday through Friday. Home every night! Rate of pay: $28-29/hr. with regular wage increases. Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate a garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste. Waste experience is preferred but not required. Read route sheets and service each customer listed or assigned by the dispatcher. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading, sometimes without assistance. Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities. Interact courteously with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Working Conditions and Physical Effort: Requires extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds. Work environment involves exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, requiring basic safety precautions.
