Summary The Sociology Adjunct Professor is responsible for in-person instruction in undergraduate courses covering topics such as social theory, social stratification, race and ethnicity, and other related sociological areas. The position involves developing and delivering engaging course content, facilitating classroom discussion, and fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and academic success. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to teaching excellence, and the ability to connect sociological concepts to contemporary social issues. Prior college-level teaching experience is preferred but not required, and familiarity with diverse instructional strategies and inclusive pedagogical practices is highly desirable.
