The New York Times National desk is seeking a versatile, experienced correspondent based in Ohio to cover the state and Mid-Atlantic region, collaborating closely with colleagues in the region. You are well-sourced in the state and be experienced covering everything that makes the state tick – including its people, politics, identity and eccentricities. You have a strong understanding of the area and can unearth revealing and surprising stories for readers in the state and beyond. You write quickly, clearly and accurately on deadline.
