Job description

The Service Shop Technician is responsible for repair and maintenance of customer’s small power tools/equipment. The Service Shop Technician must identify mechanical, electrical, and fuel system problems and make necessary repairs. Service Shop Technician is responsible to provide the highest level of customer service and the highest quality of service work possible. Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00 Depending on experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform service to power equipment including mowers, chainsaws, weed trimmers, blowers, generates and pumps in timely and efficient manner. - Clearly explain diagnosis and required repairs to customers including warranty claims. - Perform routine engine maintenance such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs. - Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts. - Adjust components according to specifications. - Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts. - Reassemble and reinstall components and engines following repairs. - Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used. - Process orders in compliance with all requirements. - Must be able to perform in a pr...
