Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Please note that this position is not Remote and does require you to work on campus at Loyola. Responsible for assisting the nursing staff in the continuous monitoring of patients requiring close observation via remote camera monitoring. Works cooperatively with the nursing staff and other patient health care personnel to maintain a safe environment and ensure optimal patient safety and comfort. This position works under limited supervision and receives direction and guidance from the Manager of Virtual Monitoring. This Role Will Be Responsible For: Continuous v isual alertness without distraction of a computer screen containing 12 -16 active patients Remain a lert to 12 -16 active patients at all times while on duty; anticipates , r ecognizes and addresses harmful behaviors Monitor patient behaviors and movements via closed circuit camera with pan/tilt/zoom capabilities Verbally redirect patient s over digital 2-way audio device .
