As part of the UK’s leading independent supplier of fencing, timber and building materials, you will play an important role in maintaining an efficient yard operation and delivering high-quality service to our trade and retail customers. Yard Operative / Van Driver – Bedford Join the Bedford branch as a valued member of the yard and delivery team. In this role you will support yard operations, prepare customer orders, and carry out local deliveries using a company van. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety conscious, and ready to provide excellent customer service both on-site and at customer locations. Main Responsibilities: Load, secure and unload goods safely and efficiently for customer orders and deliveries, following correct handling and securing procedures. Carry out local deliveries and collections using a company van, ensuring goods arrive on time and in good condition.
