Position Summary Senior – Level Role: Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Typically requires 6 – 10 Years of related experience. Performs preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical, HVAC). Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability, and yield. Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance). Troubleshoots and diagnoses the more complex equipment problems. Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. Oversee and review the work of lower-level technicians. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to Supervisor or Manager. The primary function is the direct support of process equipment and assisting maintenance in performing complex troubleshooting and equipment improvements.
