Departure Assist Agent

Job description

As a member of the Menzies Aviation Departure assist team, you will be responsible for cleaning of aircraft cabins safely and efficiently and for assisting and transporting airline passengers requiring assistance and/or wheelchair assistance. Some of the duties will include preparing cleaning solvents for use, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, disinfecting of the aircraft cabin. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain a friendly and positive attitude and be attentive to each passenger's individual needs; by assisting passengers with any problems, questions, or concerns - Push wheelchair passengers to and from gates - Roll customer-occupied wheelchair safely down the jet bridge - Ensure wheel brakes are in place prior to allowing passengers to exit the wheelchair - Complete any necessary wheelchair or incident reports - Follow dispatcher gate orders - Maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities - Exceed customer service standards - Remove blankets and pillows and replace them with clean ones - Ensure all cleaning solvents are stored correctly after use - Ensure that all cleaning equipment is in working ord...
