Job description

Position Summary Acuren is looking for an experienced Rope Access Insulators. Insulators apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustical insulation using a variety of materials on all types of industrial equipment (e.g., duct piping, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels). Responsibilities: Other work duties as assigned. - Insulation removal and installation - Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders - Assist other technicians as required - Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to determine specification requirements - Selecting, installing and securing insulation in accordance with technical specifications and equipment configuration - Preparing insulating material for application to diverse surfaces, including the measurement and cutting of material and coverings to the required shape and dimension, and working around obstructions - Installing vapour barriers and applying surface finishes such as metal cladding, canvas, plastic sheeting or cement - Ensuring quantitative tasks are performed in a productive and efficient manner within the timelines identified by client demands - Complying with site and corporate safety requirements - Perform all tasks i...
