Project Manager, Transportation Planning

Job description

The Opportunity: (Vacancy: Replacement) Reporting directly to the Manager, Transportation Engineering, this role is responsible for the delivery of transportation planning projects including master plans and transportation studies in support of the Town’s Official Plan and secondary plans. You will lead and manage transportation planning initiatives, environmental assessments, feasibility studies, and preliminary designs for transportation infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for providing technical review and guidance on transportation-related studies, policies, and infrastructure designs to ensure alignment with Town standards, growth objectives, and legislative requirements. As the Project Manager, Transportation Planning, you will perform the following duties, including but not limited to: - Lead and project manage transportation master plans, municipal class environmental assessments, feasibility studies, and transportation planning initiatives - Coordinate and lead public consultation activities, including Public Information Centres (PICs), with stakeholders, agencies, consultants, and the public - Review transportation-related studies and development applications...
